Tollywood star Naga Shaurya is set to marry interior designer Anusha Shetty on November 20. After a wedding invite for the same started circulating on social media, congratulations poured in from fans across India.

The wedding will be a two-day event, organized at the JW Marriott Vittal Mallya Road, Bengaluru. Pre-wedding festivities will take place on November 19, followed by the wedding the next day.

Who is Naga Shaurya?

Naga Shaurya Mulpuri was born on January 22, 1989, in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh to Shankar Prasad, a businessman, and Usha Prasad, a homemaker. He has a brother, Gautam, who is a software engineer.

He grew up in Vijayawada, before moving to Hyderabad to pursue his dream of acting. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Mary’s College in Hyderabad. He also played tennis before venturing into films.

He made his acting debut in the 2011 film Cricket Girls and Beer in the lead role of Vikram. After spotting a casting advertisement by Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, he sent his portfolio without any hope. However, he was selected for the lead role in Srinivas Avasarala’s 2014 romantic comedy Oohalu Gusagusalade, which went on to become a critical and commercial success. Shaurya’s performance was praised by critics.

His 2014’s third release, a romantic comedy, Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya was again a commercial success, with The Hindu stating, “Naga Shaurya proves yet again that he’s one of the best among the newer lot of actors.” His 2019 release Oh! Baby alongside Samantha Akkineni grossed more than $1 million at the US box office.

Shaurya had been previously romantically linked with actress Niharika Konidela, daughter of Telugu actor and producer Nagendra Babu. In late 2022, it was announced that Shaurya would be marrying interior designer Anusha Shetty on November 20.
