Nick Kroll is portraying the role of Bill in Olivia Wilde’s upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling. He is playing the role of Bunny’s husband. Bunny is the best friend of Alice and they investigate the Victory Project, together. 

Nick Kroll is also widely known for co-creating the Netflix series Big Mouth. Apart from being an actor, he is also a voice artist in films such as Adult Beginners, Sausage Party, Loving, Sing, and Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie.

Who is Nick Kroll? 

Nick Kroll was born on June 5, 1978, and was the youngest child in the family. His father is a multi-billionaire businessman who founded Kroll Inc, a company that specializes in corporate investigations and risk consultancy.

He attended the Solomon Schechter School of Westchester. In 2001, Kroll graduated from Georgetown University with a major in history. 

In 2005, Nick Kroll published his first book, Bar Mitzvah Disco, which was co-written by Jules Shell and Roger Bennett.

Nick Kroll started dating model and artist Lily Kwong in 2018 and the couple got married in November 2020.

Nick Kroll’s acting career

From his early childhood, he was inclined to media and art so he started his career by writing for the MTV show Human Giant and the Chappelle’s Show on Comedy Central.

In 2011, Kroll’s first stand-up special program Thank You Very Cool aired on Comedy Central. Later he co-hosted the stand-up program Welcome to Our Week with Jessi Klein, and frequently performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City and Los Angeles.

Nick Kroll earned major recognition when he co-starred in the ABC sitcom Cavemen, which was based on the Geico insurance TV commercial characters. He also starred in many supporting roles in comedy films such as Sing, Dinner For Schmucks, I Love You Man, Date Night, Get Him to the Greek and Adventures of Power.

In 2017, Nick Kroll was a voice-over artist for villainous mad scientist Professor Poopypants in the DreamWorks animated superhero film Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. The movie was a huge success and he earned international recognition after this film. 

Apart from films, Kroll has also starred in Television series like The League, The Life & Times of Tim and many more. He also became well known for his co-created show The Kroll Show. 

Nick Kroll received various awards including the Primetime Emmy Award in 2019, People’s Choice Award, Anne Award, and Gotham Award.
