Pedro Pascal is a Chilean-American actor. He is going to star in The Last of Us, an HBO series based on the highly acclaimed video game franchise of the same name. Joel (Pascal) is entrusted with smuggling tween Ellie (Ramsey) out of a containment area and to protection across the United States in the hopes of finding a cure for the zombie-like plague. The Last of Us also stars Nick Offerman, Murray Bartlett, and Melanie Lynskey.

Pascal began his career as a guest star on numerous television programs before becoming well-known for his roles as Oberyn Martell in the fourth season of HBO’s TV show Game of Thrones and Javier Pea in Netflix’s biographical crime series Narcos.

Who is Pedro Pascal? 

Jose Pedro Balmaceda Pascal was born on April 2, 1975, in Santiago, Chile, to Veronica Pascal and José Pedro Balmaceda Riera, a medical professional. His family opposed Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet and thus escaped to the US during Pedro’s early years.  Veronica Pascal died of suicide in 1999. Since then, he has used her surname in honour of his beloved mother. He was raised in Orange County, California and San Antonio, Texas.

Pascal showed an early interest in theatres and was soon enrolled in the Orange County School of the Arts to pursue his passion. He pursued higher studies and later graduated from the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 1997. 

The Chilean actor is basking in the joys of single life and is currently roped in with numerous movies. His relationship status is currently unknown.

Since 2019, Pascal, 47, has played the lead role as the titular character in the Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian, and has reprised his role in the TV-series The Book of Boba Fett. He has starred in movies such as The Adjustment Bureau (2011), Bloodsucking Bastards (2015), The Great Wall (2016), Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017), The Equalizer 2 (2018), Triple Frontier (2019), Wonder Woman 1984 (2020), and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022).
