Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starrer Vikram Vedha was released recently. Along with the talented lead roles, Rohit Saraf can be seen playing the role of Vedha’s brother.

From all the roles that Saraf has played in the past, this one stands as the most special for him, since he got to share the screen with his favourite actor Hrithik Roshan. 

Who is Rohit Saraf?

Rohit Suresh Saraf was born on 8th December, 1996, in Kathmandu, Nepal to Anita and Suresh Saraf. He moved to Delhi with his family at the age of 5. He was raised in Delhi but later moved to Mumbai when he stepped into modelling as a career. He did his schooling from Saint Francis D’Assisi High School and went on to complete his graduation from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. 

Saraf’s TV debut was on Best Friends Forever, a show on Channel V. He acted in various other shows simultaneously. He made his film debut in Dear Zindagi, where he played the role of Alia Bhatt’s younger brother. He went on to debut internationally as he played the cousin of the lead character in the Norwegian drama What Will People Say. The drama was well received and it was selected as Norway’s entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 91st Academy Awards, but it failed to earn a nomination.

He then acted in Hitchki, a Rani Mukerji starrer. Later on, he secured his big role in The Sky Is Pink (2019), where he acted alongside Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, and Zaira Wasim. 

He next appeared in Anurag Basu’s Ludo, starring alongside an ensemble cast. 

His romantic comedy Netflix series Mismatched was very well received, where he starred alongside popular Indian YouTuber Prajakta Kohli.

He made his Tamil debut as the lead opposite Anandhi in the romantic drama Kamali From Nadukkaveri. He recently appeared in a Netflix anthology series, Feels Like Ishq. 

Saraf has enjoyed popularity among film fans. He was ranked No. 39 in The Times Most Desirable Men list in 2020.
