Sally Carrera is one of the primary characters of the Cars franchise and has featured in films like Cars 2, Cars3 and Mater and the Ghostlight. Now Sally Carrera Lightning will again be seen in the upcoming American animated series Cars on the Road which is set to premiere on September 8.

This series consists of nine episodes and it features talking cars, Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater on a cross-country road trip to attend the wedding of Mater’s sister. Sally Carrera is an attorney of Radiator Springs and has a love interest for Piston cup racer Lightning McQueen.

Who is Sally Carrera?

Sally Carrera is a charming, witty attorney and an anthropomorphic talking car who is dedicated to preserving her town’s historical beauty.  She is a blue car with chrome rims and majestic blue eyes. The looks of Sally Carrera are inspired by the 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera and she is specifically based upon the 991-generation Porsche sports car classic. 

Sally Carrera is very energetic and has great speed, she can go from zero to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds.  With a rear-engine 3596 cc flat-6 and horsepower of 320, Sally Carrera has a record top speed of 177 mph.

Bonnie Hunt has voiced the anthropomorphic car in the series and Sally is very kind and pleasant at heart. Initially, she was an attorney in California but later she moved to Radiator Springs to have a better life and she developed a love interest for Lightning McQueen. 

Apart from being kind, she is a little shy when people notice her pinstriping tattoo. The tattoo holds a lot of significance in her life as it reminds her of the sad life that she had spent in California. But now she lives a better life and is very happy to serve a lot of people as an attorney in Radiator Springs.
