Sarah Hyland and Adam Devine are returning for the Pitch Perfect spinoff: We Love Each Other. Sarah Hyland didn’t think twice about joining a new Pitch Perfect spinoff, especially since it meant working with Adam Devine again.

In Peacock’s musical/comedy series Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, which follows Bumper (Devine), a character from the original film, as he tries his luck at pursuing success in Germany, the Modern Family alumni will reunite on television.

Joining her old costar in Germany was not so difficult decision for Hyland, who reportedly auditioned for a role in Pitch Perfect 2 but was turned down due to her height.

Who is Sarah Hyland?

Sarah Jane Hyland was born on November 24, 1990, in Manhattan, New York City, USA. Hyland was born to Melissa D. Canaday and Edward James Hyland, both actors. Her father is a New York-based theatre and film actor, and her mother is an acting coach for young actors. Her brother, Ian Donovan Hyland, is also an actor, and while most people consider Ian to be her elder brother, he is actually four years her junior. The New York-born and raised girl spent much of her time working in film, television, and voicing several radio commercials, as well as travelling with her father, Edward James Hyland, who worked at various theatres across the country. Her mother taught her at home until the second grade, after which she joined a public school. Sarah travelled to Los Angeles, California, when she turned 18 and within two weeks she had obtained a pilot job with My American Family. The 32-year-old worked extensively in cinema and television before relocating to Los Angeles, and at the age of 11 and a half, she made her theatrical debut in the title role of Annie at the Papermill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ.
