Sean Preston Federline, aged 16, is the eldest son of pop sensation Britney Spears and her former husband, Kevin Federline. Sean’s parents are in the news because of a few comments Kevin made in an interview about the relationship between Spears and her sons. Federline said that Sean and his 15-year-old brother, Jayden, have decided not to see their mother at the moment, and that is the reason they even kept away from her wedding in June this year to 28-year-old Sam Asghari.
Notably, Kevin Federline worked as a backup dancer for the Baby One More Time hitmaker before the two married in 2004. A year later, Sean was born at the UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center.

Post the couple’s divorce in 2007, Spears ended up losing custody of her children. From 2008, she was under the conservatorship of her father, and it was then that she managed 50-50 custody of her sons with Federline. After 2019, Spears had to settle for a 30-70 custody.
Details of Spears’ personal life emerged in the 2021 documentary, Framing Britney Spears, which also featured her sons. Here is a picture the pop icon shared with Sean and Jayden:
Spears reportedly paid her former husband around $20,000 per month for child support in addition to $35,000 for other expenses. However, Federline asked for the amount to be increased to $60,000 in 2018, citing, “financial circumstances of the parties are significantly different than when the child support was originally resolved”.
