A feud between Nicki Minaj and Shayne Stephens’ daughter, Latto, began over the Grammy Award nominations. It escalated, and the two started calling each other names on social media. 

Minaj said if Super Freaky Girl wasn’t going to be given any consideration in the rap category at the Grammy Awards, Latto’s Big Energy should get the same treatment.

“If SFG has 2B shifted out RAP, then so has Big Energy. Anyone who disagrees is either a troll or a Nicki hater”, Minaj wrote on twitter.

Nicki Minaj blasted Latto for remaining silent, referring to her as “Karen” and “scratch off.” She posted a screenshot of a direct message from Latto, who said, “ion think u need to bring up my name/song to prove ur point.”

Latto then responded to Nicki, saying she wanted to speak up, but “the way u going about it seems malicious, esp. after how we left off,” she added.

Who is Shayne Stephens?
