Three of Lizzo’s former dancers are suing the “Good as Hell” performer, as well as Big Grrrl Big Touring and Shirlene Quigley. Three of the team’s former dancers have accused Lizzo and her production firm of sexual harassment and fostering a toxic work environment.
Who is Shirlene Quigley?
Shirlene Quigley is the captain of Lizzo’s dance team. She was born on 1 July 1984 in California, USA, and is currently 39 years old.
Quigley is charged with proselytizing other artists in the lawsuit by Lizzo’s former dancers, which was submitted in Los Angeles Superior Court and supplied to NBC News by the plaintiffs’ legal team. She allegedly mocked individuals who engaged in premarital sex, had lewd sexual fantasies, simulated oral sex, and talked openly about one of the plaintiffs’ virginity.

Whether Lizzo was aware of the charges against the dance captain, Shirlene Quigley, is not stated in the lawsuit, but the plaintiffs believed the singer was aware of their grievances against her, according to their attorney, Ron Zambrano.
Lizzo has a reputation for supporting body positivity. However, the dancers assert that she fired the performer after recording a meeting due to an eye ailment and making remarks about one dancer gaining weight.

The three dancers have also made claims of false incarceration, interference with future economic advantage, and harassment based on their race and religion. Arianna Davis and Crystal Williams, two of the artists who had previously competed on Lizzo’s Amazon reality series “Watch Out for the Big Grrrls” in 2021, started performing with her but were eventually sacked. Noelle Rodriguez, the third, was employed in the same year after appearing in the music video “Rumours,” but she left the company earlier in the year.
Requests for response were not immediately answered by Lizzo, Ms. Quigley, or Lizzo’s production business. The lawsuit does not include any figures for the emotional distress damages, which cover unpaid wages, lost wages, and legal costs.
