Actor Shweta Tiwari is a known name on the Indian small screen, thanks to her powerful portrayal of Prerna Sharma in %u2018Kasautii Zindagii Kay%u2019. Her other noteworthy performances include Sweety in %u2018Parvarrish%u2019 and Bindiya Thakur in %u2018Begusarai%u2019.
The 40-year-old was also the first woman to win the reality TV show %u2018Bigg Boss 4%u2019 and has won %u2018Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur%u2019 . She has also participated in %u2018Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa%u2019. She was last seen in %u2018Mere Dad Ki Dulhan%u2019 opposite Varun Badola. The show went off-air last year.

The actor is currently in Cape Town to shoot for stunt-based reality show %u2018Khatron Ke Khiladi 11%u2019 The shoot of the Rohit Shetty-hosted show will be held for a month in foreign locales. Launched in India in 2006, %u2018Khatron Ke Khiladi%u2019 is adapted from the popular American game show Fear Factor.
Talking about her personal life, Shweta married Raja Chaudhary in 1998 and welcomed their first child Palak in 2000. After 9 years of marriage, she filed for divorce in 2007 citing the reason that she suffered domestic abuse in her marriage.
She later married her co-star Abhinav Kohli in 2013 after dating for a few years. The couple welcomed their first child, Reyansh, in 2016. In 2017, Shweta filed a complaint of domestic violence against Abhinav following which he was taken into police custody. The two separated in 2019.
