Sunil Grover is a renowned actor and entertainer known for starring in ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ as Guthhi and in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ as Dr Mashoor Gulati. 

The 44-year-old recently underwent a cardiac surgery at Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai. According to a report by ETimes, the actor is currently recuperating. He was diagnosed with heart blockage. 

A News18 report stated, “he shot for a web series in Pune recently despite his health condition. He finished the shoot like an absolute professional and left for his treatment. He had blockages in his heart but he still shot a few scenes and completed his commitment.”

Grover last starred in the Zee5 comedy web series, ‘Sunflower’. The show also features Radha Bhatt, Saloni Khanna, and Mukul Chadda. ‘Sunflower’ is directed by Vikas Bahl and Rahul Sengupta.

Last year, the actor featured alongside Saif Ali Khan in the political drama show, ‘Tandav’. Despite its gripping storyline, the show was accused of being hurtful to religious sentiments, with several legal notices issued to its makers.

As of late, Grover recently posted a comic video on Instagram. The short video shows a cat sporting a gold neck chain and a pair of sunglasses. The caption reads, “new influencer.” 

Grover, who was recently shooting in Shimla for his next project, took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the snow-clad locale. He wrote, “Simla today, and my fav song.”

The actor often posts videos on Instagram with his witty remarks. Grover has over 4.7 million followers on the platform. 

On the film front, Grover last starred in the 2019 film ‘Bharat’. The film features Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. According to News18, Grover is rumoured to star alongside Shah Rukh Khan in an upcoming film. The film is being directed by Atlee Kumar. The title of the film hasn’t been revealed yet.
