The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter SZA has revealed details of her next SOS arena tour, which will include Omar Apollo as a special guest. SZA will embark on the tour in January 2023, travelling to important cities including New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto while she is there.
SZA’s SOS tour follows her wildly popular CTRL tour, in which she played to sold-out crowds all over the world. SZA and Apollo will bring their distinctive styles and sounds to venues across North America on the SOS tour, which is anticipated to be even bigger and better.

Who is SZA?
Solána Imani Rowe popularly known as SZA is an American R&B singer. Solána Imani Rowe was born on November 8, 1989, in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised in Maplewood, New Jersey. Her mother worked as an executive at AT&T, while her father was an executive producer at CNN. Rowe has an elder brother named Daniel popularly known as Manhattan, a rapper, and an older half-sister named Tiffany Daniels.
Rowe stopped wearing her hijab in the seventh grade as a result of bullying brought on by the September 11 attacks. Rowe attended Columbia High School and participated in athletics and gymnastics. Rowe attended three different institutions after graduating from high school in 2008 before deciding to study marine biology at Delaware State University. She eventually dropped out during her last semester, but she started working in odd jobs in order to make money. Rowe took inspiration from Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA and created her stage moniker using the Supreme Alphabet.
Career
She began her career in early 2010 and started recording songs, and also released two extended plays before joining the hip hop record company Top Dawg Entertainment. SZA released her her third EP, Z, which was also her first retail release.

On June 9, 2017, SZA released her first studio album, Ctrl which received various positive reviews. The Recording Industry Association of America finally certified it platinum when it debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200. SZA was also nominated for Best New Artist at the 60th annual Grammy Awards for the album and four of its songs.
Ctrl was ranked as the best album of 2017 by Time. She also contributed to the smash song What Lovers Do by Maroon 5. The song All the Stars, which she co-wrote with Kendrick Lamar for the Black Panther soundtrack, received nominations for both the Academy Award for Best Original Song and the Golden Globe Award for Best Song. Her song, Good Days, rose to prominence on streaming services in 2021 and became her first solo top 10 success on the Billboard Hot 100.

Neo-soul singer SZA is known for her alternative R&B style, which combines elements of indie rock, cloud rap, witch house, and chillwave with soul, hip hop, and minimalist R&B.
