Taylor Hale created history on Sunday by becoming the the first Black woman to win the CBS reality competition ‘Big Brother‘. The 27-year-old also became the first player to win the show and also be voted America’s Favorite Player by fans. She took home a cash prize of $800,000. 

“This is like winning Miss Congeniality all over again, but there’s a cash prize this time,” the Michigan beauty queen told host Julie Chen Moonves at the end of the finale.

“I’m gonna spend a lot of money at the mall. Also I think I have to go and buy some potato chips after this,” she added.

Who is Taylor Hale?

Taylor Hale was born in Detroit, Michigan, on December 31, 1994. Her mother, Jeannette Dickens-Hale, is reportedly a Senior All Source Threat Intelligence Analyst at NTT. Taylor completed her graduation from George Washington University and began working as a personal assistant. 

She then kickstarted her pageant career by competing for Miss District of Columbia USA in 2017. She made it to the Top 15. She was crowned Miss Michigan USA in 2021.

Taylor competed in Miss USA last year and was named Miss Congeniality 2021.

Before entering the Big brother house, the 27-year-old, during a chat with Parade, called herself “very optimistic.”

“I won’t say I’m a bubbly person, but I am very outgoing. And I know that typically those people are the ones that have some trouble sticking it out in the long run in the game,” she said. 

Though not much is known about her personal life, she was spotted kissing co-contestant Monte Taylor during Top 5 week. 

According to News Unzip, her net worth is estimated to be $850,000.
