Ronnie Turner, son of
American-Swiss singer Tina Turner passed away on Friday, December 9, according
to TMZ. He was 62 years old at the time of his death.

Law enforcement officers said that
they received a 911 call that claimed that Tuner was facing
severe breathing trouble. By the time the paramedics reached, he was found
dead. 

In 2018, his elder half-brother Craig Hill died by suicide.

Who is Erwin Bach?

Erwin Bach is a music executive who was born on
January 24, 1956, in Cologne, Germany. The 66-year-old has also worked in movies
as an actor and producer.

During his music career, he has worked with the likes
of Queen, Paul McCartney, Radiohead, and Pink Floyd. Bach briefly took up
acting, starring in the 1999 film Maldito Amor: Demasiado Tarde. He also worked as a producer in the 2021 HBO
documentary film on his wife, TINA.

Bach met singer Tina Turner in the mid-eighties at the Dusseldorf
airport when he was sent to greet her by her European Record Label, EMI. At the time, he worked as a label executive. Although
they started out as friends, they began dating later the same year. They married in a civil ceremony on the banks of Lake
Zurich in Kusnacht, Switzerland in July 2013, after a 27-year
romantic relationship.

In the HBO documentary, Turner
recalled being instantly smitten by Bach. “My heart went bah-boom. It means
that a soul has met, and my hands were shaking.” She elaborated further,
saying, “He was just so different, so laid back, so comfortable, so
unpretentious, and that was the beginning of our relationship.”

In Turner’s 2018 memoir My Love
Story, she revealed that in 2013, three weeks after her wedding to Bach, she
suffered a stroke and three years later, she was diagnosed with intestinal cancer whose
treatment resulted in damage to her kidneys and eventually, kidney failure. She had
considered assisted suicide, but it was Bach who donated one of his kidneys to
her. She referred to this gesture as a ‘gift of life’.
