Kayla Nicole Bailey, daughter of ‘Basketball Wives’ star Brooke Bailey, has died at the age of 25. Kayla died on Sunday after sustaining serious injuries in a car crash, Pop Culture reported quoting sources.
Who was Kayla Nicole Bailey?
Kayla Nicole Bailey was born on March 2, 1997. She reportedly has two siblings-
Shumecio, who was born in 1998 and another sibling born in 2004.
She was a model and a Memphis Certified Hairstylist, according to her Instagram page.
Hours before her accident, Kayla, in her Instagram stories, shared several photos and videos of herself partying with friends in a Memphis club. She also shared videos from inside a car.
She reportedly met with an accident in the wee hours of Sunday. Details about the accident are yet to be disclosed.
Brooke announced Kayla’s death by sharing photos of her daughter on Instagram on Sunday night.
“Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey. This is not a goodbye. Mommy will see you soon,” she captioned the image.

She also changed her Instagram bio to include a tribute to her daughter.
“Kayla Nicole Bailey 3/2/97 – 9/25/22”, she wrote, along with a purple heart and dove emoji.
Brooke’s friends and fans flooded the comments section of the post with condolences.
“So so sorry for your loss. God please cover their family in the name of Jesus,” one person commented.
“Omg beautiful I’m sooooo sorry! My prayers are with you im lifting your name high tonight in prayer,” another user commented.
“I am so sorry Brooke, may the lord cover you and comfort you.. I’m here always love you,” wrote a user.
Shumecio also put up a post on Instagram, sharing several photos of him and his sister through the year.
“For years it’s been just us, but now that you’ve left me it’s just me,” he captioned the post.
