Kymberly Herrin, the actor and former Playboy model, died on October 28 at her home in Santa Barbara, California. She was suffering from breast cancer and died peacefully, the Santa Barbara Press reported. The actor was 65 years old. 

She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021, and a fundraiser was also started to support her chemotherapy.

Herrin is best remembered for the sex scene in the 1984 film Ghostbusters. She famously appears as a ghost and has sex with Ray Stanz, played by Dan Aykroyd.

Who was Kymberley Herrin? 

Kymberley Herrin was born on October 2, 1957, in Santa Barbara County, California. Following her acting debut in 1984, she starred in hit movies like Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), Ghostbusters (1984), and Road House (1989). 

In 1975, Herrin received his diploma from Santa Barbara Senior High School. She is a hybrid of French, Swedish, and Filipino ancestry.

Before that, she was a fashion model and worked with magazines like Playboy and FIT. In the March 1981 issue of “Playboy,” she was featured as the Playmate of the Month. She was on the covers of “Playboy” in September 1982 and September 1983.

Herrin appeared in a few “Playboy” videos and posed for a few “Playboy” special editions. “
