Who was Lil Sodi?

Born and raised in an area controlled by the Eight Tray Gangster Crips, he gained recognition in the music industry after signing with 100 Entertainment, a record label founded by Bigfase 100 of Cedar Block Piru, a Compton-based street gang.

Lil Sodi, whose name was derived from his father’s moniker “Big Sodi,” began his musical journey as a singer while incarcerated in the California Division of Juvenile Justice. Later, he transitioned into a rapper and released two mixtapes under 100 Entertainment before joining Corporate Thug Entertainment, founded by renowned rapper Young Jeezy.
