Michoel Schnitzler, a legendary Jewish singer, passed away on April 14, 2023. He died at the age of 62 and died after suffering a heart attack.

The singer suffered a stroke while on the way to returning from Pesach in Eretz Yisroel at Airmont. Hatzoloh of Rockland County rushed to his side, as they tried to save his life. The singer passed away shortly before Shabbos.

Schnitzler had a heart condition for a long time. He had also been hospitalized because of it. There was a rumor spread years ago that the singer had passed away. At the time Schnitzler had addressed the rumor, saying “I’m alive, not dead… I still didn’t divide the inheritance.”
