Who was Nicholas Lloyd Webber?

Nicholas Lloyd Webber was a 43-year-old English composer and record producer. He was the child of Andrew Lloyd Webber, a composer, and Sarah Hugill, his first wife. Nicholas had been moved to a hospice before his death as he battled gastric cancer.

Nicholas Webber was most known for his work on the BBC 1 drama Love, Lies, and Records, as well as a theatrical and symphonic rendition of Antoine de Saint-novel Exupéry’s The Little Prince. Along with his father, Greg Wells, and David Zippel, he was also nominated for a Grammy for the musical theatre album for their performances of Lord Lloyd-Webber’s Cinderella.

In addition to all this, Nicholas had also written music for television advertisements

A few days before the news of Nicholas’s death broke, his father Andrew had posted another video updating his son’s health status, in which the composer said his son was “over the worst of this first bout of pneumonia” which he caught as a result of his “ghastly” cancer.
