Two actors on the Netflix series ‘The Chosen One‘, who were killed in an auto accident near Mulege on the Baja California Sur peninsula on Thursday, have been identified as Raymundo Garduño Cruz and Juan Francisco González Aguilar. Six other cast or crew members suffered injuries after the van they were riding in flipped after running off the road in a desert area. All of them were reportedly working in the nearby Santa Rosalia area at the time of the accident.

Who is Raymundo Garduno Cruz?
According to IMDB, Raymundo Garduño Cruz has acted in the movie ‘Here comes the Devil’.
Just hours before his death, he shared a photo on Instagram from the shoot location.

Following his death, his friend, actor- director Fernando Bonilla, took to Twitter to pay tribute to the actor. He also demanded a thorough an investigation into the crash.
“I just found out about the death of my dear friend Ray Garduño. He died in a road accident while filming as an actor the series American Jesus in BCS. It is imperative that the production report how many hours of rest the driver who lost control of the truck had,” he tweeted.
Sharing a few photos of the deceased actor, he added, “A picture of Ray that he sent me when the Dodgers eliminated the Giants last year, one from when we went to see the Bulls, another from when he met the Harp, and the last one I sent him, the Taco-N-all that recommended me.”
According to casting calls, the Netflix series is being taped by an independent production company. The release date is yet to be announced.
