One of the most well-liked Star Wars series is The Mandalorian. As Season 3 approaches, viewers have begun to speculate about what might happen to Din Djarin and his devoted friend Grogu.

Many fans have started to wonder if The Mandalorian might influence some other upcoming Star Wars projects. Mando was previously mentioned in The Book of Boba Fett. Fans believe that Season 3 of The Mandalorian may feature more of these tie-in series now that Ahsoka is on the way, and have also tried unpuzzling who the upcoming ruler of Mandalore is going to be.

Here are 3 popular theories as to who will rule Mandalore:

#1 Din Djarin

Din Djarin will eventually become the leader of the Mandalorian nation, according to a common fan hypothesis for this season. The atmosphere suggested by the teaser was definitely present. We are aware that he would return to Mandalore to seek forgiveness “for his transgressions.”

Moreover, he has started to use the phrase “this is the way” more frequently, suggesting that he may have reverted to the more traditional Mandalorian belief that one should always wear a helmet.

The king of Mandalore needs both the Darksaber and the Mask of Mandalore. The Mask of Mandalore is a potent representation of authority among Madalorians, acting as a kind of crown and sword scenario. It was not possessed by every monarch, but if Din Djarin managed to obtain it, his authority would be aligned with that of his people’s legendary forefathers. In the teaser, there is a scene where Mando picks up a dusty beskar helmet that is not exactly obvious. Even if it isn’t the Mask of Mandalore, it might be a clue as to what Mando might discover.

#2 Mando

Mando took control of the Darksaber and the Mandalorian people as their leader after beating Moff Gideon in the season 2 finale. Unlike other monarchs who inherit their titles, the title of Mandalore (ruler of the Mandalorians) is a position that must be achieved. The first Foundling to become a Mandalore is Mando.

The best evidence of Jaster Mereel’s legacy is Din Djarin (the Mandalorian who started the Foundling program). Mando’s adjustment to his new role and handling of the burden must be shown in Season 3’s narrative.

#3 Bo-Katan

A fight for the throne of Mandalore is openly set up in season three of The Mandalorian. Din Djarin is technically qualified to rule his people because he has the Darksaber, but Bo-Katan Kryze feels, not altogether unreasonably, that she should have that position. Djarin, meanwhile, is dealing with a personal dilemma. Pedro Pascal’s character in The Mandalorian season 2 discovered that his tribe, the Children of the Watch, were extremists disconnected from Mandalore’s actual values and that he had been misled about their traditions. Djarin is no longer regarded by his own tribe as a “true Mandalorian” because he violated those traditions by taking off his helmet.

Numerous hints in the third season trailer of The Mandalorian suggest that Din Djarin will take over as the Children of the Watch’s leader while Bo-Katan is elevated to the position of monarch of Mandalore and that the two factions will establish a closer working relationship going forward. In the near future of The Mandalorian, Djarin will go on a voyage of repentance, asking for pardon for taking off his helmet by diving into the live waters under the mines of Mandalore. Mando may succeed the Armorer as the leader of his tribe, assuming he completes his atonement and still possesses the Darksaber, especially after discovering the Mandalorian lies he was raised believing after the Death Watch saved him as a child.
