Country singer Jimmie Allen and his wife Alexis Gale are getting a divorce after three years of marriage, TMZ reported in an exclusive report. The couple has two children together and the latter is pregnant with another one.

The entertainment website, citing sources close to the two, reported that Allen and Gale have been ‘off and on’ for the last few months. They feel that parting ways is the best decision for their family.

Jimmie Allen and Alexis Gale have two children – Naomi Bettie Allen and Zara James. The couple’s third is on the way.

Alexis has another child from her previous relationship. TMZ in their report added that they are not sure when the two are going to file for a divorce.

Allen and Gale got married in 2020. They tied the knot in a secret wedding.

“Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another,” Gale posted on Instagram.

Alexis Gale, on Friday, left her fans worried with a cryptic message on social media.

“We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us,” she wrote.

Jimmy Allen and Alexis Gale, both are natives of Milton, Delaware. They met through a relative in 2019 and started dating. They were engaged in the same year.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Allen spoke about Gale. He said,  “I thought she was amazing from the little bit I knew of her,” he said. “She seemed super mature and had herself together. Kind and sweet.”

Alexis is also a stepmother to Aadyn, Allen’s son from a previous relationship
