The post-pandemic Grammy Awards, which are just around the corner, are promised to be a star-studded event with BTS and Taylor Swift and other prominent personalities all set to take the stage. However, Rihanna is nowhere to be seen in the award ceremony, or the show business.
Rihanna, who has reportedly been working on her highly anticipated album called ‘R9’ since 2018, was not nominated, or scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards 2021, reported Page Six.

While some fans worry that a prolonged inactiveness, which has now breached the five-year mark, of Rihanna might cost her the fame and support she has gathered in the industry with her back-to-back hits, some believe that her new relationship with A$AP Rocky, another American popstar, might push her for a huge comeback.
The highly-celebrated artist, who is also known for her outspoken nature, has secured major achievements like 14 single tracks reaching Number 1 on charts while over 50 songs being in the top 40 since 2005. Moreover, she has more than 93 million followers on Instagram.
Many believe that the primary reason for Rihanna maintaining a significant distance can be her young yet successful line of makeup products under the ‘Fenty’ label. The beauty product business, which is billions in net worth, is also a source of creativity for Rihanna, reported Page Six quoting sources.

Another branch out of her original brand, Savage X Fenty recently crossed the $1 billion mark valuation, just three years after its launch. The lingerie line effortlessly raised $185 million to date, and Forbes estimated the pop star’s stake to be worth about $80 million before the most recent funding round, reported Page Six.
