Actor Amitabh Bachchan, who will turn 78 on October 11, will be seen in a “full length” role in Nag Ashwin’s magnum opus project, informs the director in a social media post. The film also stars actors Deepika Padukone, who is making her Telugu debut with it, and Prabhas.

Big B also took to his Twitter account to share his excitement for the project.

“An honour and a privilege to be a part of this momentous & most ambitious venture .. and my greetings for the completion of 50 years for @VyjayanthiFilms.. may you celebrate another 50 .. and on !!Folded hands#Prabhas @deepikapadukone@nagashwin7,” tweeted the actor.

The film will also commemorate the 50th year of production company Vyjayanthi Films.

The company’s social media handle too welcomes Senior Bachchan.
