Actor-producer Anushka Sharma on Thursday stepped out of her home for the first time since the birth of her first child and nobody can ignore the fact that she looked gorgeous.
The new parent was spotted wearing a loose denim on denim outfit, which did a great job of hiding her post-delivery belly.
Not that embracing motherhood with its glorious belly fat and stretchmarks is bad, there are some new moms who like to wear their fashionable clothes in a way that hides their tummies. Let’s take a look at some styles that will do the trick:
Switch to one size up:
The best way to hide that belly fat is to have a size up from your pre-pregnancy wardrobe. Yes, you will eventually get back to your original size but with pregnancy, your hips and breasts get a little bit bigger for sure.
Wear flowy clothes
Flowy dresses are for everyone but especially for the new mothers out there. You just need to find tops or dresses that flare at the point where your tummy bulge begins to hide it.

Layers:
Yes, we know it can be sometimes sweaty but layering your clothes can be really helpful to get away with the shape you are currently in. You can experiment with shrugs, vests, sweaters, stoles or even your favourite blazers.
Oversized t-shirts:
Look for unconventional yet trendy t-shirt styles such as oversized, so that they can become really cool postpartum clothes. There are so many types to choose from that tummy bulges are pretty much invisible to people around.
Tucked-in clothes
Pregnancy may have had you investing in long, butt-covering tops over leggings but now it’s time to tuck. Buy some summery shirts, tuck them in a good pair of trousers and you are good to go.
Have a happy motherhood!
