Former WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon, who announced his retirement on Saturday, has been caught up with a sexual misconduct scandal in recent times. A recent Wall Street Journal report alleged that the 77-year-old had paid more than $12 million to as many as four women to cover up “allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity.”

Since then, more revelations regarding the allegations have come to light. An American wrestler, Paul London, has alleged that Vince McMahon was involved with former WWE star Ashley Massaro, who passed away in 2019 just before her 40th birthday. Massaro was part of the team that managed London in the WWE.

During a conversation on Cafe de Rene with Rene Dupree show regarding Massaro’s death, London revealed that he remembered instances when the late wrestler would be crying because of the former WWE CEO.

“I do remember, specifically, many times when she would be crying to me because Vince was propositioning her to fly on the jet with them,” he said. 

The wrestler also revealed that Kevin Dunn and Bucktooth Bucky also told her to fly with them.

“Every now and then, they’d always put the Divas up at like the TV hotel or whatever, he’d be knocking on her door and trying to get her to answer,” he added.

However, Massaro never came up with an allegation against the former WWE CEO and Chairman in her life. However, she and WWE were involved in a lawsuit in 2016, when she claimed that she was raped by a member of the US military on a company tour in 2006.

London also said that he is surprised that the sexual misconduct allegations against Vince McMahon have not surfaced sooner.

“I’m shocked this Vince stuff is just now coming out,” the 42-year-old said. “I haven’t looked up on a lot of it but I’m surprised it hasn’t come out within the last 10 years. But that just goes to show how afraid people are of the power dynamic where they’re so fearful of losing their job,” he quipped.

Informations have surfaced that Vince McMahon advised Massaro that it was against the interests of WWE to make the information on the assault on her public.

The lawsuit was later dismissed and WWE denied having any knowledge of the assault or instructions to the former WWE star to keep it under wraps.
