Lazzarini Design
Studio, in its latest creation in the form of a floating architectural marvel,
has decided to go for a yacht-concept shaped in the form of a shark.

Measuring up to
be a huge 153 metres, Prodigium will made of carbon fibre and aluminimum. The
price tag for the megayacht is estimated to be around $550 million.

The concept has
enough space for three swimming pools and its own yacht, which has a length of
30 metres.

The exterior
design of the yacht takes influence from Roman architecture. Fittingly, this is
due to an attempt to portray the shark as the ‘emperor of the sea’.

The yacht,
accompanied by three jet engines and two electric engines, will be capable of
reaching speeds up to 22 knots, according to the Lazzarini Design Studio.

The vessel can
have up to 40 guests at a time, and has further space for three helicopters and
two garages.

Prodigium is the second
of six new nature-driven concepts under the development of Pierpaolo Lazzarini.
The first concept was the swan-shaped Avanguardia concept.

Lazzarini
estimates the concept to take around 28 months before reaching completion, if
it is picked up by a shipyard.

The market for
yachts is considered to reach a value of $10.2 billion by 2025.
