Aaradhya have been tested positive for the coronavirus, tweeted Abhishek Bachchan. They were tested after Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek were diagnosed with COVID-19 late on Saturday.

“Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful.The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers,” Abhishek tweeted on Sunday evening.  

Jaya Bachchan, however, has tested negative for COVID-19 virus, the minister’s tweet confirmed.

Super Speciality Hospital has said that Amitabh Bachchan is “stable with mild
symptoms” and is currently admitted in an isolation unit. The 77-year-old actor,
said in a tweet on Saturday that he has tested positive and appealed to those
who were in close proximity to him in the past 10 days to get themselves
tested.

Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar, according to the Press Trust of India, had earlier said that Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya were tested negative for coronavirus.

The mayor had said the Bachchan residence is now a containment zone and all residents have been quarantined for 14 days.
