Delhi recorded 5,100 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, the city’s highest single-day spike this year. There were a total number of 2,340 recoveries and 17 deaths reported today.
Delhi has witnessed a total number of 6, 25, 062 cases from which 6, 56, 617 people have recovered and 11, 113 have died. There are 17, 332 active cases in Delhi.

Government of Delhi has imposed a night curfew to prevent further spread of covid-19 virus starting from 10 pm to 5pm. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said that entry in metro will be restricted for the common people from 10 pm to 5 am. Only the people who fall in the essential category as per the govt guidelines will be allowed to travel after verifications of their ids.

Here is the list of people that will be exempted from the curfew:
- There will be no restrictions on traffic movement during night curfew.
- People can get vaccinated but need to have an e-pass.
- Owners of ration, general, fruits, vegetables & medical stores will be allowed on e-pass.
- Print & electronic media personnel will be allowed to move on e-pass.
- Private doctors, nurses & paramedical staff to remain exempt if ID card is produced.
- Passengers going to airports, railway stations & bus stations will be exempted if a valid ticket is produced.
- Pregnant women are to be exempted.
- Department providing essential services are to be exempted.
