b. Honey:

Honey is a natural remedy that fights against cough. The antibacterial properties in honey soothe the throat and alleviate the irritation and dryness of the throat. According to several ayurvedic health experts, Clove is filled with anti-inflammatory compounds that help with cough and cold.
