Jacinda Ardern,
the Prime Minister of New Zealand, was talking to citizens about the steps the
administration is taking to help businesses get back on their feet amid the
COVID-19 pandemic when she was interrupted by her three-year-old daughter who
apparently wanted to speak to her mother right then. The funny exchange between
the New Zealand PM and her daughter Neve left the internet in splits and many
parents could relate to Ardern’s situation.

The New Zealand PM
was talking about a new framework for businesses and about shifting
restrictions on account of the pandemic when a faint voice is heard in the
background calling out — “Mummy?”. “You are meant to be back in bed,” replies
the prime minister adding, “It’s bedtime darling — pop back to bed and I will
come and see you in a second.”

Viewers then learn
that the prime minister’s mother had come to her rescue as Neve interrupted and
“nanna” would take care of it. However, escaping Neve wasn’t that easy. Within
minutes, the three-year-old returned in to the broadcast that effectively made
the prime minister conclude: “I’m sorry darling, it is taking so long.” Soon,
the prime minister ended the livestream.

Three-year-old
Neve Te Aroha was born to New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and her
partner for eight years and television star Clarke Grayford. Ardern, 41, is
only the second woman leader of a country to give birth while in office. The
