Shortly after the Union Health Ministry suggested practising yoga as a protocol for ‘post COVID management’, a video emerged where in patients at the Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre and Hospital of Delhi’s Chhatarpur were seen performing ‘asanas’. The hospital is run by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police.

The video posted by news agency ANI shows people on their beds, practising various ‘asanas’ in chorus.

“At present, there are 1,386 patients admitted at the ITBP-run Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre and Hospital at Radha Soami Beas in Chhatarpur. A total of 2,454 patients have been discharged after so far; 3,921 patients admitted to the centre,” ANI reported ITBP, as saying.

The Centre on Sunday issued guidelines, suggesting practise of yoga, pranayam and other breathing exercises, as a part of post COVID care for recovered patients.
