India records 165,553 new COVID-19 cases, lowest in 46 days

- India's COVID-19 tally has reached 27,894,800
- As many as 325,972 people have died of the disease
- There are 2,114,508 active cases in the country
India on Saturday recorded 165,553 new COVID-19 cases, taking its toll to 27,894,800, the Union Health Ministry's data released on Sunday showed. As many as 3,460 patients died in the past 24 hours, pushing the toll to 325,972.

There are 2,114,508 active cases in the country, while 25,454,320 have recovered
India started its mass vaccination drive against coronavirus on January 16. Till now, 212,066,614 people have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
