Two Central Police Reserve Force (CRPF) personnel were killed in a militant attack at Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar on Monday, news agency ANI reported. 

Militants opened fire near Kandizal Bridge in Nowgam area of Srinagar this afternoon, a police official told PTI. According to ANI the terrorists fired upon road opening party (ROP) of CRPF at Pampore bypass on Monday.

The attack left five personnel injured, among which two died.

The injured have been shifted to the Army’s 92 base hospital here, the official said, adding, further details are awaited.
