The Peripheral

The Peripheral is a sci-fi drama series based on William Gibson’s best-selling book of the same name. The series takes the audience through the years 2032 to 2099.  Flynne Fisher (Chloe Grace Moretz) and her Marine veteran brother Burton (Jack Reynor) get involved in risky crimes through simulation games that are far too realistic. The risks of technology make them realize that there is too much at stake to lose while they are trying to generate money.

This sci-fi series is streaming on Amazon Prime Videos from October 21. 

Ammu 

Ammu is the first Telugu-language original film that is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film puts forward the fact that marriages shouldn’t allow domestic violence, and love shouldn’t entail treachery. It also tells the story of a lady who musters up the strength and bravery to defend herself against her husband’s domestic abuse. The film has a powerful cast that includes Bobby Simha, Naveen Chandra, and Aishwariya Lekshmi.

Cuttputlli

Cuttputlli is currently streaming on Disney+Hotstar and is the Hindi remake of Ram Kumar’s Tamil-language Ratsasan (2018). In this film, Akshay Kumar plays Arjan, an ambitious filmmaker who pitches a story about a serial killer. But soon Arjan joins the Kausali police department and his obsession with psychopaths proves to be useful. Akshay Kumar, a police officer is on the lookout for a Soviet serial killer, sexual predator, and necrophile. In between tailing the murderer, Arjan falls for school teacher Divya played by Rakul Preet Singh.
