In honour of late actor Sidharth Shukla, a prayer meet is going to take place at 5 pm on Monday. The meet is open to all his fans and can be joined via a Zoom link. This comes as actor Karanvir Bohra took to Instagram to share the invite on behalf of Sidharth’s family.

Sidharth Shukla was a popular TV actor. He passed away on September 2 at the age of 40 and was cremated on the next day in the presence of his family and friends.

On the invite, Karanvir Bohra, wrote, “Let’s all come together today at 5pm for special prayers and blessings for our friend #sidharthshukla organized by his mother #ritaaunty and his sisters #neetu and #preeti and sister #shivanididi @brhamakumaris_bk #seeyouagain on the other side bro.”

The invite described Sidharth Shukla as ‘an angel who touched every heart’ and further said, “Let’s join together to offer our good wishes and love to God’s most beloved child.”

The late actor’s fans expressed their grief and offered condolences in the comments that followed.

Karanvir Bohra was criticised on social media because of the car he drove when he visited Sidharth Shukla’s house to pay respects. He took to social media to respond to the remarks in which he was called ‘gareeb (poor)’ and  captioned, ‘Ciaz gadi mein aye hai, gareeb lag rahe hai!’ So sad, are we here to make 5-star appearances? We came to meet a mother who just lost her son. And this is what certain press people notice during such a grieving time? This is exactly what gives press people a bad name.”

Sidharth last appeared on reality shows Bigg Boss OTT and Dance Deewane 3, with rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill. The actor rose to fame after starring in the lead in Balika Vadhu and later went on to win Bigg Boss 13.
