Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, who was recently embroiled in a public spat with actor Kangana Ranaut, reached the Singhu border on Saturday to address farmers protesting against the recently implemented farm laws.

Dosanjh, who has spoken in support of the farmers protesting against the Centre’s farm laws, addressed farmers at the Singhu border on Saturday and urged the Centre to ‘fulfil the demands of our farmers.”

He further stated, “We have only one request to Centre..please fulfil the demands of our farmers. Everyone is sitting here peacefully & the entire country is with farmers.”

Speaking to the farmers agitating over the farm laws Dosanjh further said, “ Hats off to all of you, farmers have created a new history. This history would be narrated to future generations. Farmers’ issues shouldn’t be diverted by anyone,” as per ANI report.

Actor Diljit Dosanjh had traded barbs with Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut on Thursday. Ranaut, who recently equated Mumbai with Pakistan occupied Kashmir, equated Biklis Dadi with a Mahinder Kaur, saying the former was available for Rs 100.

The two sparred over Twitter, following Kangana Ranaut’s erroneous tweet comparing Shaheen Bagh protestor Bilkis Dadi with Delhi Chaalo protestor Mahinder Kaur.

Dosanjh pointed out to Ranaut that the two women were different, criticising Ranaut over her comment. The Queen actor was quick to retaliate, calling Dosanjh, ‘Karan Johar’s paltu’, accusing him of indulging in drama.

Dosanjh then accused Ranaut of misleading people, following which they two indulged in a Twitter feud.
