Actress Rhea Chakraborty, who is in the centre of Sushant Singh Rajput death case investigation, has said the late actor opened up to her about his relation with his father. He had told Rhea that his relation with his father weren’t good since childhood.
In an exclusive interview with India Today on Thursday, she said, “Sushant told me that he didn’t have a good relation with his father ever since he was a child. It was because his father left them at a young age. Sushant loved her mother a lot and obviously it affected him when his father left.”
Last month, Sushant’s father KK Singh filed a complaint against Rhea and her family accusing them of abeting his son’s suicide.

Speaking to the media first time after the actor’s death, Rhea revealed that her relation with Sushant’s family were spoiled after his sister Priyanka molested her in the influence of alcohol. She also said that she went on a meditation camp with Sushant’s other sister Meetu. Sushant’s family has alleged that Rhea kept Sushant away from his family. Rhea has, however, denied all such allegations.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14.
The CBI took over the inquiry into Rajput’s death earlier this month after Supreme Court’s recommendation to involve the investigation agency in the case. The Enforcement Directorate is probing a money laundering angle while the Narcotics Bureau is probing alleged dealings in banned drugs.
