Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna celebrate their 21st wedding anniversary today. Twinkle took to Instagram to share a picture of herself with her husband, along with a lengthy caption. The duo is seen sitting outdoors, smiling and gazing at each other, sporting a casual beige and yellow ensemble. Akshay is seen wearing the same outfit he wore in a video posted by him a day ago.
Penning a conversation the duo shared during the click, Twinkle wrote, “On our 21st anniversary we have a chat. Me: You know, we are so different that if we met at a party today, I don’t know if I would even talk to you. Him: I would definitely talk to you. Me: Why am I not surprised. So like what? You would ask me out? Him: No, I would say, Bhabhi ji, how is Bhai Sahab, kids fine? Ok Namaste.”
Twinkle concluded the conversational snippet with a hashtag of ‘21 years of laughter’.

The saga of the celebrity couple began on the sets of the 1999 film ‘International Khiladi’. Two years down the line, the duo tied the knot on January 17, 2001. The couple has two children, Aarav and Nitara. Just a day before, 9-year-old Nitara was seen in a video posted by Akshay on Instagram, feeding and petting a cow at the Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan.

Earlier this month, the ‘Sooryavanshi’ star shared glimpses from his New Year holiday in the Maldives with his family. He also shared a post of the duo on a hammock bed, surrounded by the waters. Akshay had captioned the post: “With you by my side, even the blues are easy to take in my stride… Happy birthday, Tina”.
