All Air India flights to and from Oman have suspended after the decision of the Sultanate to close all travel outlets from 01:00 hrs on December 22, for a period of one week, reported ANI quoting Air India.

This comes after Oman, Saudi Arabi and Kuwait announced to shut their borders amid fears about a new and highly infectious coronavirus strain reported from the UK, Air India.

Several countries have banned travel with Britain after Prime Minister Boris Johnson said a highly infectious new strain of the virus was a danger to the country.
