The fictional character James Bond uses the popular phrase to describe how he likes his martini cocktail. It first appeared in the novel ‘Diamonds Are Forever’, and Bond himself said it in ‘Dr. No.’ The phrase is also used by the villain Dr Julius No in the film adaptations, and Bond, played by Sean Connery, utters it for the first time in the movie ‘Goldinger’. Later, in ‘Casino Royale’, after the protagonist loses millions in poker, he responds to how he wants his drink with “Do I look like I give a damn?”
