Amazon Quiz (January 8, 2022): In which of these countries is this animal found regularly?

A. India

B. USA

C. Australia

D. Sri Lanka

Answer: Australia

Kangaroos are the largest marsupials found on earth, while they belong to the Macropus genus. Other members include smaller variations known as wallaroos or wallabies. Interestingly, studies have shown that most kangaroos are left-handed.

These animals are known to travel in groups, collectively known as a mob. While some kangaroos can hop up to 25 feet, they often use their tail as a fifth leg.

Though kangaroos don’t have to face too many predators, in the rare occasions that they do, a kangaroo will often go into the water. This is because kangaroos are great swimmers. But, sometimes, a kangaroo will actually trap the predator, drowning it in water instead.
