Answer: Old Trafford

Old Trafford
is one of the world’s most popular football stadiums. It is built in Greater
Manchester, England and is used by Manchester Stadium as their home stadium. It
has a capacity of 74,140 seats and is largest club football stadium in United Kingdom.

It is also
the second largest football stadium overall, the biggest one being Wembley
Stadium, in the United Kingdom and the eleventh largest in all of Europe.

It was
nicknamed by sir Bobby Charlton, a former English footballer and one of the
greatest players of all time, as the “Theatre of Dreams”.

While the
stadium is being used by United since 1910, the club was forced to share Maine
Road with local rivals Manchester City due to Old Trafford being damaged as a result
of bombing during the second World War.

The stadium
underwent a number of expansions in the 1990s and 2000s with a future expansion
to take place soon.

The stadium’s
attendance record is 76,962 spectators in the FA Cup semi final between the
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Grimsby Town in 1939.

It has
hosted matches during the 1966 football World Cup, Euro 1996, 2012 Summer
Olympics and the 2003 Champions League Final.
