Michaela Antonia Jaé Rodriguez was the first transgender to win a Golden Globe. She won the Best Actress – Television Series Drama  for her performance in the third and final season of Pose. Professionally known as Mj Rodriguez, she was cast in Pose in 2017. She was also the first transgender woman to earn an Emmy Award nomination in a major acting category.
