Richard Branson, a British billionaire who flew to space aboard a Virgin Galactic vessel, has described it as “experience of a lifetime”. Branson and five others were first ones on a successful suborbital test flight from the US state of New Mexico.
Branson had originally hoped to see a maiden spaceflight by 2010, but the date was delayed for several years, primarily due to the October 2014 crash of VSS Enterprise.
