Vicky Kaushal is a 33-year-old Indian Bollwood actor. He
hails from a Punjabi background and was born in a chawl in suburban Mumbai. He received
the National Film Award for the best actor category. He is the son of famous
Indian director Sham Kaushal. He appeared on Forbes’ list of India’s Celebrity
100 in 2019.
He pursued an engineering degree but eventually realised his
heart lays elsewhere. He chose to walk on a difficult path and tried to pave
his way in the film industry. He worked as Anurag Kashyap’s assistant in the
hit film Gangs of Wasseypur. His first leading role in a film came through
Masaan.
He has appeared in a number of famous Bollywood movies such as Raman
Raghav 2.0, Raazi, Sanju, Love per Square Foot and Lust Stories. His most
grossing film is Uri: The Surgical Strike which saw him play the lead role as a
military officer. The film received praise from critics and fans alike.
