On Thursday, the businessman shared a picture of a Lego store in Manhattan, New York. The difference between the availability of The Taj Mahal Lego and The White House set of toy blocks amused Mahindra quite a bit.

“Lego store in Manhattan New York. Interesting that the Taj Mahal flies off the shelf faster and is out of stock but the White House is plentiful… Maybe there should be some kind of LEGO group Index of relative brand values!”, he tweeted.

More than 1,700 people liked and retweeted the post. Both Mahindra’s followers and other Twitter users responded in a flood. Some of them also brought up the Taj Mahal Lego set’s higher price compared to the White House box.

With headquarters in Billund, Denmark, The Lego Group has been producing building blocks since 1949. The company’s flagship item is sold with a variety of gears and other accessories and comes in a variety of colours with interlocking plastic blocks.

The Danish word leg godt, which translates to “play well,” is the source of the name Lego. With sales of US$2.1 billion in the first half of 2015, The Lego Group surpassed Mattel, which had US$1.9 billion in sales, to become the largest toy company in the world in terms of revenue. In Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Funskool opened the country’s first Lego store in March 2014 with permission from the Lego Group.
