Andre Russell, the star all-rounder for West Indies and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) surprised fans with a new hairdo ahead of KKR’s opening game of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. KKR will be playing Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday.

Russell won the award for Most Valuable Player in IPL 2019 after his power-packed performances with both bat and ball. But he could not quite replicate the heroics in IPL 2020 as he sat out on the bench due to injury or was marred with inconsistent performances. But the Jamaican would rearing to make amends and provide the team with what he is known for on the field.

The Jamaican now has a blonde colour on his hair, which takes us back to the last he coloured his hair and smashed 19-ball 49 against SRH, the team he would be facing today, at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. KKR shared this picture of Russell on their official Twiter handle.

Andre Russell as we all know is someone who can decide matches on his own and change the course of a game. He is known to be a handy death overs bowler with a range of toe-crushing yorkers to a well-directed bouncer. And with the bat, he can hit big sixes and finish innings with match-deciding cameos.
