It seems celebrity dating rumours are the new thing. Every once in a while, a random actor or rapper is papped with another out into town and the gossip just takes off from there. Actor Angelina Jolie and singer The Weeknd have just became the latest rumoured couple.
According to Page Six, Jolie and The Weeknd were both seen having dinner at the Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Los Angeles, where they spent hours together before leaving separately. While neither of the two have commented on the matter so far, a source said that The Weeknd hasn%u2019t made any efforts to keep the meeting under the public radar.
Page Six has also released images of the two from their dinner, with Jolie seen wearing a trench coat, while The Weeknd sports a denim jeans and tucker jacket combo. %u201CThey’re clearly not trying to hide,%u201D Page Six quoted the source as saying.

However, the meeting could also have been business-related, with the %u2018Blinding Lights%u2019 singer set to star in the new HBO show, %u2018The Idol%u2019. The series is being co-created by Reza Fahim and Sam Levinson and will follow the story of a female singer falling in love with a club promoter in Los Angeles, finding out later that he is the leader of a cult. The Weeknd will co-produce the project.
The Canadian singer has previously starred with Adam Sandler in %u2018Uncut Gems%u2019 and wrote an episode of American Dad in 2020.

His meeting with Jolie comes on the back of the %u2018Lara Croft%u2019 star getting back in touch with her ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller. Rumours about the two started doing the rounds after the 48-year-old Brit was seen leaving Jolie%u2019 New York City apartment.
