Tendulkar junior has often been seen as a net bowler, playing against many international sides. He has been training under the guidance of Mumbai Indians bowling coach Shane Bond and Zaheer Khan, one of India’s most successful fast bowlers.

Even before Arjun came up for auction, he was trending on Twitter with hilarious memes and users speculating about his IPL future. “If Arjun Tendulkar is purchased by any franchise other than Mumbai Indians in today’s auction I’ll quit twitter,” wrote a user.

When Kerala player Sachin Baby was bagged for Rs 20 lakh by Royal Challengers Bangalore, Twitter erupted with comments like, “Don’t confuse, Sachin Baby and Arjun Tendulkar are two different players! #IPLAuction2021”

Tendulkar has been on trips with Team India as a net bowler in the past.
